In december I happily arrived at the ISCP.
36 Artists from around the world, selected to come and stay for 2 - 12 months. I am here for 9 months, but will be staying in New York afterwards.
My Studio has a skylight and I am working on my Aksel Sandemose/Esben Arnakke project.

DANISH ART COUNCIL: The 2009 Grant plus funding for "The Exquisite Capabilities of the Flying Carpet" at Skive Kunstmuseum

This spring The Danish Art Council has supported me with funding for my up-coming solo show at Skive New Museum of Art/SNYK as well as a general working grant.
And because it is quite expensive to work as an artist, this means the whole world;-) I will spend the money on The Skowhegan Artist Residency in Maine, and to moving to New York at the end of the year. THNX;-)

PLAYING ON SHIP, iceland 2009

I ended my Icelandic adventures by making 2 videos. The first is called "playing ship" is recorded on a field of snow in front of a mountain, a ship is stranded and I inhabit it by playing sounds on it, in post production this sound will create an electronic soundscape, based on some basic rules.
